Prayer

A NATURAL EXPRESSION OF FAITH

Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication--Ephesians 6:18

Purpose and Goal

The primary purpose of prayer is to admit our need for God. Secondarily, we want to bring our wills and desires in line with God's will. Prayer should assist us in submission to the Lord. â€‹

PRAY FERVENTLY

We desire to pray passionate, heart-felt prayers that seek communion with God.

PRAY CONSTANTLY

As believers, we want to be in regular, consistent prayer.

PRAY FOR ALL THINGS

We want to pray fervently and constantly for all things, big and small.

Opportunities to Participate

PRAY ALONE

One of the disciplines of a Christian life is daily prayer. We want to be in prayer constantly, but setting aside a special time each day to be in regular constant prayer is beneficial and healthy for believers. We encourage all believers to set aside a regular time and place to pray. â€‹

PRAY CORPORATELY

We have dedicated times of prayer throughout our Worship Gatherings. The are typically led by elders or other members of the church. The times are indicated in your worship guide. Additionally, you will find specific areas of prayer list in your worship guide that we are praying for as a body. The people, groups, and ministries listed here are a one way we continue to pray corporately after the leave the worship gathering.

PRAY IN SMALL GROUPS

We encourage members in small groups to support, love, and encourage one another through praying for one another. Small group leaders lead members in a time of sharing and praying for one another. Discipleship groups provides another opportunity for us to "bear one another's burdens" (Gal. 6:2).
